Frequently Asked Questions
- My husband put my pewterware in the dishwasher and now it is dull. What can I do?
Unfortunately, the only remedy is to have the piece buffed back to its original shine, which can be costly. If you have a local business that polishes silver, you might want to give them a call. - What is your return policy?
We will accept all returns within 4 weeks of purchase, provided the piece is returned in the condition it was received.
- Can I really put your pewterware in the oven?
YES! Our pewterware is oven safe up to 250 degrees - and it retains temperature!
- What about salt coming in contact with the pewterware?
If you are concerned about the finish of the product "turning", first lightly spray vegetable oil to create a barrier.
- Will pewterware scratch?
Like any metal, our pieces will scratch. Avoid slicing, cutting, and carving directly on your pewterware.
- If I don't see a particular item I need on line, do you special order?
If we are able to order the item, we will do our best to get what you need.
- How soon do you ship?
If an item is in stock we will ship it within 3 business days.
- Do you gift wrap?
We will gift wrap for an extra charge. Please call or email us in advance for a quote.
- Do you ship outside of the country?
Right now we only ship within the United States.
- Do you have a bridal registry?
We are excited to be offering a bridal registry in the near future. It is currently "in the works"!
- Do you have a store front?
We are thrilled to be located at the Shops at 5807 in Richmond...gift wrapping is free of charge for regularly priced items of $10.00 or more.
- How often do you receive new items?
We are always adding new pieces to our selection. Once an item is sold out, we do not always offer it again. We love to keep new designs coming in!
- How do I care for my pewterware?
Our pewterware will never tarnish. It is 100% food safe and can go from freezer to oven to table.
- Never tarnishes, never needs polishing
- Warm foods up to 250 degrees
- Use for serving food, not storing food
- Hand wash with liquid detergent; dry immediately with a soft cloth (spotting may occur if left to drip dry); NO DISHWASHER
- As with all metals, our pewterware will scratch; therefore, avoid cutting directly on surface
- No microwave
- When serving acidic foods, floating candles or flowers, lightly spray with vegetable oil to create a barrier
